IMU CET 2018 is an Indian Maritime University demeanours all India online collective entrance test recognised as Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test. It the central university that was originated in the year 2008. The University systematises the admission in undergraduate & postgraduate programmes in the area of Marine.

IMU CET 2018 Application Form

Applicants can copy the IMU CET 2018 application form for PGDME course over the online process from the authorised website.

The last date for acceptance of application form is 15th December 2017. After implementing the application form, applicants have to send the filled application form end to end with demand draft.

IMU CET 2018 Application Fees

Applicants must pay Rs. 1000/-  and Rs. 700 for SC/ST aspirants as an application fee.

The fee will be submitted over demand draft. The demand draft will be given in favour of “Indian Maritime University, Mumbai Campus” payable at Mumbai through the national bank.

IMU CET 2018 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern will have single CET exam will be directed for UG programmes, two MBA programme and two M.Tech Programme on the equal date and equal time period.

The IMU CET will be held through the online procedure in the first week of June 2018. ‘

The period of the entrance exam is three hours. It consists of Multiple Choice Question. There will be no technique of negative marking.

IMU CET 2018 Syllabus

The CET syllabus of UG Course will be created on the level of Class 12th  that is CBSE, ISE and State Boards.

The syllabus of UG Course will originate from the subjects Chemistry, English, Physics, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Aptitude. The MBA course syllabus encompasses of Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical reasoning. M.Tech Course syllabus comprises of English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Aptitude and General Engineering.

Physics

Gravitation, Electromagnetic Induction and A.C., Wave Motion and Sound, Fluids, S.H.M., Electrostatics, Ray Optics, Rotational Motion of a Rigid Body, Electrons and Photons, Radioactivity, Semiconductors, Heat Radiation, Magnetic Effects of Electric Current, Current Electricity, Wave Theory etc.

Chemistry

Nuclear and Radio Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Chemical Thermodynamics and Energetics, Nature of Chemical Bond II, organic hydroxy Compounds, Adsorption and Colloids, Carbohydrates Halogen Derivatives of Alkanes, Chemistry of Transition and Inner Transition Element, Proteins and Fats, Chemical Kinetics, Coordination Chemistry etc.

Mathematics

Probability, vector and 3-d geometry, matrices, Boolean algebra, linear in equations, definite integrals & its application, differential equations limits and continuity, statics & dynamics, indefinite integrals, etc

IMU CET 2018 Admit Card

The IMU CET 2017 Admit Card has been delivered over online mode. Applicants can download their admit card from the authorized website. The admit card for DNS course has been obtainable from 23rd December 2017. The university updates the registered applicants through SMS or email.
