KVPY 2018

KVPY 2019

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a fellowship program funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It was initiated in 1999. The aim of the program is to encourage talented students of science with a research aptitude to take up research in Basic Sciences. The fellowship ensures that exceptional talent in sciences is recognized, nurtured and channelized for the development of science and technology in the country.

Students studying in Class X upto first year of graduation in Basic Science courses can apply for KVPY 2019 fellowships. Selected candidates will be provided handsome grants for study upto pre-PhD level for pursuing Science in India. The selection process consists of a written aptitude test and an interview. Candidates are selected on the basis of total marks secured in written test and interview. KVPY 2019 will be conducted by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.
