IISc Application Form 2018

IISc Application Form 2018 for UG and PG courses is accessible over online method. The application form is provided on the authorised site of IISc. The application form for UG &PG program is obtainable from February 2018. The last date to submit the application form was March 2018 for PG courses.

Supportedaspirants from Defense, DRDO, ISRO, NAL, KSRTC, BMTC, BARC, BDA, PWD and CPRI, those will be applying for the Supported courses, they have to submit the print copy of the online application form on 31st March 2018.

IISC Bangalore 2018 Application Fee:

Aspirants can credit the application fee through online (Net-banking, Visa Card/ Master Card, Debit/Credit Cards) or offline method (Challan). The fee can be funded in any branches of the SBI. The fee is nonrefundable.

IISc 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility standards are diverse for different courses.

  • Research [Ph.D. / M Tech (Research)] OR External Registration Programs (Ph.D.):

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree passed from the second class.

Obligatory: Qualifying one of the subsequent suitable national level exams with validity as on 1st August 2018: NBHM Screening Test 2018/GATE 2017/ INSPIRE Fellows (for PhD)CSIR-UGC NET for JRF/UGC-NET for JRF/DBT JRF/ICMR JRF/JEST 2017/.

  • Tech

Pass BE/B.Tech or a corresponding degree from second class or effective GATE score card as on 1st August 2018.

  • Des

Pass B.Des/B.Arch BE/B.BTech degree or effective GATE or CEED score card as on 1st August 2018.

  • Mgt

Pass BE/B.Tech degree with a First Class or effective GATE  2016/2017/2018 or CAT 2017 or GMAT score card having validity as on 1st August 2018.

  • D. (Integrated)

Least first class B.Sc or corresponding degree OR BE / B Tech degree holders with JAM 2018/ JEST 2018

  • Undergraduate Program

Passed or Appearing 10+2 (or corresponding) with PCM as main subjects & secured 60% or equivalent grade (pass class for SC/ST candidates).

IISc Admissions 2018

The Admission process in many UG and PG courses is stated below.

UG Courses:

Those aspirants apply for the UG course, they will be nominated on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be based on one of the subsequent national level exams:

  • KVPY-SA, KVPY-SB, KVPY-SX, KVPY SA & SX Fellows selected over the Empowerment Initiative for SC/ST.
  • IIT-JEE-Main[seeming in 2017 and securing a least of 60% for GEN, 54% for OBC-NCL, 30% for SC/ST/PWD].
  • IIT-JEE-Advanced[seeming in 2017 and securing a least of 60% for GEN, for 54% OBC-NCL, 30% for SC/ST/PWD.
  • NEET UG[seeming in 2017 and securing a least of 60% for GEN, 54% for OBC-NCL, for 30% SC/ST/PWD].

PG Courses:

The aspirant who apply for the PG course, they will be also nominated from the National level entrance exams.

Research Program:

Those aspirants want admission in Research program, they have to meet the eligibility standards and be suitable for one of the entrance exams. CSIR-UGC NET for JRF//NBHM Screening Test 2016/GATE 2015/2016/2017/INSPIRE Fellows (for PhD)/UGC-NET for JRF/DBT JRF/ICMR JRF/JEST 2016.

M.Tech Program:

Selection of the aspirants will be done on the GATE 2017/2018 score. Aspirants who are chosen on the basis of the GATE score, they have to succeed the aptitude test and interview that is systematised by the IISC for M.TechProgrammes admission.

Master of Design (M.Des) Program:

To get admission in M Des program, aspirants have to succeed one of the entrance exams that are GATE/CEED. After passing GATE/CEED, the IISC directs a Design Aptitude Test and interview. Selection will be based on the presentation in the Design Aptitude Test and interview.

Master of Management (M.Mgt) Program:

Aspirant will be qualified on the basis of a valid GATE/CAT/GMAT score. The qualified aspirants have to appear for the group conversation and interview procedure. On the basis of the performance of the aspirant in the group conversation and interview, they will be selected for the M.Mgt program.

PhD (Integrated) Programs:

Aspirant will be selected on the source of the JAM 2018/JEST 2018 score followed by an interview.

External Registration Programs (PhD):

Those aspirants looking for admission in this program, they have to meet the eligibility standards. They also have two years of full-time employment skill. The selection will be based on the performance of the aspirant in the interview to be directed at IISc.
