Important topics for Physics in JEE Main & Advanced
The Physics part for JEE will include 20 chapters, that have to be covered over 2 years.
There are few topics which are important in Physics that has to be covered or focused more initially.
 Dimensional Analysis
Although a very easy chapter but knowing correct units and dimensions for physical quantities can easily help you to eliminate options in multiple choice type of questions.
 Gravitation & Electrostatics
The chapters are conceptually similar to each other (in terms of attractive forces concepts)
 Current Electricity & Heat Transfer
These topics are conceptually similar to each other. So, when you read these chapter by watching out for the similarities (which might be deceiving at times)
 Electromagnetic Induction
 Waves & Sound
 Geometrical Optics
 Thermodynamics
Kinetic Theory of Gases, Rotational Dynamics

Mathematics is the foundation of complex engineering calculations. According to study, some students who score more in math clear JEE advanced. So one should highly focus on this.
One thing that you must understand is that, you can only be a master of math by solving more and more questions.
The JEE Syllabus for Math has close to 15 chapters which you have to cover over a period of 2 years (Class 11 and Class 12).
Unlike physics and chemistry, there is no topics that you can skip. But although there are some of the important topics for Math.
